Are you an experienced IT Analyst with proven analytical and problem-solving skills? Do you enjoy working with a team of IT professionals and vendors, and implementing system enhancements and upgrades? The job involves:
- Assist in the management and operational support of systems across the Casino environment
- Coordinate IT projects from inception through delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Gather and analyze business, technical, and regulatory requirements, and conduct system analysis, impact assessments, and root cause analysis to support business cases, production issues, and system enhancements.
- Design interface requirements within and between systems and maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, interface specifications, data models, and SOPs.
- Support system configuration, change management, and release management activities across environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod).
- Create, maintain and execute test plans that ensure comprehensive testing in accordance to best practices and system specifications.
- Support access control, audit logging, and security controls in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve software, network, and hardware issues, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to deploy patches, updates, and system enhancements to ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with programmers, infrastructure specialists, operations, business users, and external vendors while developing a solid understanding of business functional areas.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with a structured and detail oriented approach.
- Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation with on-call and after-hours availability as required.
The ideal candidate has:
- University or College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in an IT organization
- Experience with common web, data (SQL), and application development programming languages
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
