À propos

3D Printing Canada is looking for a rockstar 3D Printing Technical Specialist to join our team. If you live and breathe 3D printing, can troubleshoot a print failure in your sleep, and have the skills to operate and repair everything from desktop FDM units to industrial LFAM and SLS systems – we want you.

About the Role

You'll be hands-on with all the brands we carry, including Bambu Lab, Modix, Caracol, Intamsys, Creality, and Sinterit. This role is not just technical—you'll also be producing high-quality 3D prints for client projects, ensuring every job meets professional standards. You'll manage machine operations, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs, as well as support customers with technical advice and solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Operate and maintain a wide range of 3D printers (FDM, SLA, SLS, LFAM, etc.)
  • Run 3D printing projects for clients, ensuring precision, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Diagnose and repair hardware, electronics, and motion systems
  • Calibrate machines and optimize print settings for top-quality output
  • Perform preventative maintenance to keep printers in peak condition
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new workflows, materials, and applications
  • Train customers and internal staff on machine operation and best practices
  • Stay ahead of 3D printing trends, tools, and technology advancements

What We're Looking For

  • Proven hands-on experience with multiple 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, LFAM)
  • Strong knowledge of 3D printer mechanics, electronics, and firmware
  • Familiarity with slicer software (e.g., Bambu Studio, Cura, PrusaSlicer)
  • Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
  • Experience working with industrial and desktop 3D printers
  • Comfortable with precision tools, repairs, and fine mechanical work
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
  • Bonus: Experience with CNC, laser engraving, post-processing techniques and/or robotics.

Compensation & Perks:
