Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Excavator Operator to join our Valued Clients team in Grande Prairie. This temporary position is suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety while working on pipeline right-of-way operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators safely and efficiently on pipeline right-of-way.

  • Perform trenching, backfilling, ditching, and clean-up work.

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

  • Work with ground crews and follow direction from site supervisors.

  • Maintain awareness of underground utilities and environmental sensitivities.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and project procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating excavators in pipeline or right-of-way work.

  • Valid driver's licence.

  • Strong understanding of safe excavation practices.

  • Ability to work long shifts in outdoor conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ground Disturbance Level II.

  • CSTS, First Aid, H2S Alive.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work on pipeline right-of-way in varying weather and terrain.

  • Long shift durations with physically demanding tasks.

  • PPE required at all times.
