HVAC Technician/ Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician/installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Gas 2 or Gas 1 license, 2 years experience minimum, have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with various HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all installations meet industry standards and operate efficiently.

Duties

• Install HVAC systems according to specifications and building codes.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units.
• Troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems to determine necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and plumbers during installations.
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in appliance repair and the ability to build components as needed.
• Experience with plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations.
• Ability to weld metal components when required for system installation.
• Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents.
• Capability to maintain high-quality standards while working under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail-oriented work.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
