Role
The Head of Client Services will take the lead in shaping and executing the company’s sales strategy, inspiring a team of Account Managers and Sales Coordinators to deliver growth, profitability, and exceptional service. You’ll sit on the Leadership Team, collaborating closely with the founders and the Head of Business Development to ensure commercial targets are met, client satisfaction remains high, and internal processes are continuously refined. This is a strategic yet hands‑on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a design‑conscious environment and wants to make a measurable impact in a growing creative business.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to meet commercial targets and KPIs.
Develop and implement sales strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Oversee account management across multiple project types and client sectors.
Forecast sales performance, analyse data, and inform strategic decisions.
Work cross‑functionally to improve systems, processes, and sales efficiency.
Maintain client satisfaction through exceptional service and relationship management.
Manage team performance, training, and onboarding initiatives.
Contribute to company‑wide strategic discussions as part of the Leadership Team.
Champion the company’s culture, values, and commitment to responsible design.
What the Client Would Like to See (Essential)
10+ years’ experience in senior sales leadership, ideally within a design‑related or creative industry.
Proven experience scaling sales operations and driving sustainable revenue growth.
Strong people management skills with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
Commercially astute with excellent negotiation, closing, and communication abilities.
Highly organised with great attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
A hands‑on, adaptable leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
What We Would Like to See (Bonus)
A background or interest in design, interiors, or furniture.
Experience working within a purpose‑driven, sustainability‑focused business.
Knowledge of CRM systems and familiarity with data‑led decision making.
An authentic enthusiasm for building long‑term relationships and improving client experience.
