The Opportunity We’re looking for a commercially minded and technically strong Senior Commercial Data & Analytics Specialist to join our growing Commercial Operations team.
In this role you’ll act as a key bridge between regional commercial needs and global analytics capabilities. You’ll shape commercial data strategy, drive reporting standardisation and influence the design of scalable analytics solutions. You’ll lead complex data initiatives, identify and resolve reporting gaps, and support interim solutions where global systems are still evolving.
You’ll also guide cross‑functional teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and governance while mentoring junior team members and acting as a thought partner to ensure data enables insight‑led, commercially effective decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Align cross‑regional commercial data and reporting needs with global analytics strategies and systems
Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics specifications
Identify and resolve data/reporting gaps, improving integrity, consistency, and accessibility
Own key regional data initiatives and deliver interim solutions where needed
Provide expert insights into data flow architecture and governance
Partner with commercial finance and operations leaders to enhance decision‑making
Champion data management best practices and system usage
Mentor junior team members to build analytics capability across the team
Support change management and adoption of new analytics tools and frameworks
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
Business analyst or related certification desirable
5 years in operations/business analytics or data‑related roles with at least 2 years in analytics
Experience working cross‑functionally with remote/global teams
SQL/coding skills advantageous
Comfortable in fast‑paced matrixed environments
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL ERP systems (e.g., D365, Oracle, SAP), and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
Skills & Attributes
Strong understanding of commercial processes and data‑driven decision‑making
Proven ability to influence commercial strategy through analytics
Excellent communication skills, able to tell compelling stories with data
High attention to detail and process integrity
Data modelling or advanced analytics knowledge a plus
