Clinic: Maxwell Family Dental

We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Administrator to join our team at Maxwell Family Dental, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Whether you're early in your career or bring years of experience, you'll be joining a supportive, professional environment where you can bring your expertise, energy, and empathy to the front desk.

Specifics about the role:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Schedule:
  • Mondays 10 am - 6 pm
  • Tuesdays 8 am - 4:30 pm
  • Wednesdays 8 am - 4:30 pm
  • Thursdays 10 am - 6 pm
  • Fridays 8 am - 4:30 pm
  • One Saturday per month with a day off during the week in lieu.

  • About the Clinic: 

    Our Maxwell Dental team is an energetic, fun, and team-oriented practice. Adopting a holistic approach, our dental practice provides proactive treatments, alternatives, excellent hygiene, and wellness education. Our goal is to offer informed, optimal dental care for enhanced overall wellness.

    What you'll do:

  • Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
  • Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
  • Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Oversee insurance claims, billing systems, and follow up with insurance companies
  • Establish and manage office protocols to keep operations running smoothly
  • Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
  • Provide leadership and foster a team culture focused on outstanding client service
  • What you'll bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental clinic environment. Experience or willingness to learn in clinics that offer holistic dentistry.
  • Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Cleardent and MaxAssist is an asset
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
