Baptist Health is a skilled rehabilitation center and nursing home that provides full service for people requiring either long or short term comprehensive care. Baptist is a non-profit, independent, faith base organization.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of a current Registered Nurse License in New York State
* Demonstrate proficiency in passing medications and performing treatment
* Able to relate to an elderly population and coworkers. Interpersonal, active listening, teaching, observation, reporting and monitoring skills
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care in the nursing home setting.
* Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative environment.
* Manage patient assessments and care plans, utilizing EHR systems for accurate documentation.
* Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and basic life support standards during patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
