Carpenter Apprentice

About the Role:
As a Carpenter Apprentice, youll play a hands-on role in constructing and maintaining buildings, ensuring structural safety, and delivering high-quality craftsmanship. From building foundations to finishing interiors, your work will contribute to projects that stand the test of time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lay building foundations and prepare framing for cement.
  • Mix, pour, and shape cement, including for stairs and forms.
  • Frame buildings, including doors, windows, and structural elements.
  • Install drywall, siding, flooring, roofing, and ceilings.
  • Construct and install specialty furniture, stairs, porches, and other required items.
  • Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Perform detailed finishing work, including stain-grade trim, shelving, and cabinetry.
  • Repair furniture and structural elements as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to safety and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Carpenter Apprentice.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and remodeling practices, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform material estimates.
  • Proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.
