About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer
to join our team. This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for the design, deployment, and operation of our next-generation, secure, and highly-available containerized platforms.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)

• Kubernetes (K8s) Platform Management:
  Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient
  Kubernetes
  clusters and infrastructure (e.g., using
  Rancher
  ,
  Helm
  ).
• CI/CD & Automation:
  Develop, optimize, and maintain advanced
  CI/CD pipelines
  using tools like
  GitHub Actions
  ,
  Jenkins
  , and
  ArgoCD
  to achieve fast, automated, and reliable application deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Drive the complete automation of infrastructure lifecycle management using
  Terraform
  .
• DevSecOps & Security:
  Implement and enforce security best practices across the entire development lifecycle, including managing secrets securely via
  HashiCorp Vault
  , utilizing
  SAST tools
  (
  Checkmarx
  ,
  SonarQube
  ), and managing certificates with
  Certificate Manager
  .
• Observability & Monitoring:
  Implement and maintain comprehensive observability stacks using tools like
  Prometheus
  ,
  Grafana
  ,
  Loki
  ,
  Alert Manager
  , and
  Fluentd/Fluentbit
  to ensure system health and proactive alerting.
• Container Registry Management:
  Configure and maintain secure container and artifact repositories, specifically
  Harbor
  and
  Artifactory
  .
• Collaboration:
  Partner closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to streamline workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and uphold high standards of system reliability (
  SRE
  principles).
• Advanced Deployments:
  Manage and maintain deployments within complex environments, including
  air-gapped environments
  .

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• 8+ years
  of progressive, hands-on experience in a
  DevOps
• Expertise in Kubernetes:
  Proven experience managing, hardening, and scaling K8s clusters, including configuration with
  Rancher
  and package management with
  Helm
  .
• CI/CD Mastery:
  Deep, practical experience with modern CI/CD tools such as
  GitHub
  ,
  GitHub Actions
  ,
  Jenkins
  ,
  GitLab CI
  , or
  ArgoCD
  .
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Strong proficiency and extensive experience with
  Terraform
  for full infrastructure automation.
• Secrets Management:
  Expert-level knowledge in securely managing application and infrastructure secrets using
  HashiCorp Vault
  or similar enterprise-grade tools.
• Observability Stack:
  Proficient in setting up and operating the full monitoring and logging stack (
  Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, Loki
  ).
• Storage & Networking:
  Strong understanding of Kubernetes persistent storage solutions (
  Ceph
  ,
  Longhorn
  ,
  S3
  , or
  Portworx
  ) and core networking/network security fundamentals.
• Eligibility:
  Must be eligible for up to a
  Top Secret Security Clearance
  (Canadian Government).

Nice-to-Have Skills (Assets)

• Experience with
  Kong
  (API Gateway / Ingress Controller).
• Familiarity with Static Application Security Testing (
  SAST
  ) tools like
  Checkmarx
  and
  SonarQube
  .
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms using
  Active Directory
  .
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (

• Exposure to distributed data processing technologies (
