About The Role
We're seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join our operations team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This full-time, hourly role involves general labour, equipment operation, and supporting production activities in a safe and efficient manner.
The Manufacturing Operator plays a key role in ensuring that quality products are produced on schedule while maintaining ADM's high standards for safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence. This role supports daily milling and production operations and may involve operating equipment such as lift trucks, forklifts, hoists, and baggers.
*What You'll Do *
- Perform general plant cleaning, including shoveling, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Load bulk flour and assist with production tasks
- Operate computerized systems as required
- Take samples and record accurate data
- Support the Miller and other team members as needed
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ADM procedures
- Work in a variety of physical and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, heights, and confined spaces
- Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations
*What You Bring *
- Willingness to work overtime, shiftwork, and weekends when required
- Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and professional attitude
- Strong communication skills and collaboration with mill, lab, elevator, warehouse, and sanitation teams
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Commitment to safety and ADM's zero-injury culture
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted and performing physically demanding tasks
*Education and Experience *
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset but not required
