We're looking for an Operations Associate who's excited to help bring more fun to Canadians by keeping HPD's procurement and warehouse engine running smoothly. This role supports the day-to-day flow of inbound product—coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate stock codes and pricing, and partnering across teams to make sure the right items arrive on time and are ready to sell. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, can manage multiple priorities, and communicates clearly with both internal teams and external partners, with a genuine interest in learning and taking on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

Logistics:

  • Keeping our Shipment Tracker tool up to date for all inbound shipment details and ETA's
  • Working with Vendors and carriers/freight forwarders to arrange pick-up and delivery for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Preparing import documentation through using the CARM portal for our weekly cross-border pick-ups, or with our broker for all direct shipments

Stock Code Management:

  • Supporting the buyers in stock code creation (data entry)
  • Reconciling prices between our system and vendor price lists
  • Updating pricing in our system
  • Preparing Sales pricing

Receiving:

  • Working together with the warehouse to receive counted product into our system
  • Working with vendors and/or carriers regarding discrepancies and damage on shipments
  • Creating Claims and preparing Damaged Box products for alternative sale options when applicable

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Working with Finance to confirm or dispute invoice discrepancies on procurement related invoices
  • Disseminate information to the relevant departments. Details such as adjusted timelines for incoming product, communicating important stock codes to the warehouse for priority receiving, upcoming large invoices to prepare finances, and more.

You also need to embody the traits or have the following skills:

  • Demonstrate our core values of Care, Honour and Initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office skills with experience using MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in importing, logistics and/or supply chain is advantageous

Pay: $52,000.00-$62,400.00 per year
