Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various machining processes. This role involves developing and optimizing CNC programs for milling and sawing machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations, utilizing advanced CAD/CAM software and maintaining safety standards across the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for milling machines and lathes using Fanuc controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Perform machine calibration, tool selection, and changeovers using hand tools and power tools.
  • Conduct quality checks using calipers and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming, or machine operation to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements following lean manufacturing principles.
  • Assist in assembly processes when required, supporting overall production goals.
  • Follow safety protocols related to welding, forklift operation, and machine operation to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in CNC programming with Fanuc controls is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge of machining processes and equipment operation.
  • Experience with Easystone and CAD software for designing and modifying parts.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles including lean manufacturing practices.
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements.
  • Hands-on experience with machining tools such as calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklifts.
  • Familiarity with CNC lathe and CNC milling machine operations.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, assembly techniques, and basic welding skills is a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about precision manufacturing and advanced machining technology to grow their skills within a dynamic team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.66-$37.16 per hour
