Bloomer Health is a therapist focused Early Intervention agency, that provides in-person services to babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years old. Our agency uses an innovative, digital platform built by therapists, for therapists, to modernize and reduce time spent on non-clinical tasks (e.g. onboarding, case management, documentation and billing). We actively support the therapist from behind the scenes to ensure smooth delivery of services and to help save time on case management. Our platform is further integrated into billing which makes it easy to process and zero extra work for the therapist!At Bloomer Health, we support and mentor providers by being responsive to each therapists’ unique needs. We have clinical directors for each discipline who, via a robust quality improvement process, are able to provide clinical support. We also offer around the clock access to our administrative and technical support teams. You will never feel alone.
*Provider Responsibilities*
The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be working one on one with developmentally delayed babies and toddlers who qualify for Early Intervention services in NYC.
The pediatric OT provider will be responsible in utilizing their clinical knowledge and skills to help each child reach their gross motor milestone goals, as well as, educate and guide parents and caregivers to ensure carryover between sessions.
OT providers are part of a care team that includes the family, care coordinators, teachers and other service providers and collaboration is encouraged in order to provider the child and family with the best care.
*Flexibility*
The Pediatric Occupational Therapist provider can create their own schedule and workload based on personal availability and preferences. Sessions are prescribed from 1-5 times per week for 30 or 60 minutes, based on the child's IFSP.
*What qualifies a provider?*
* A degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited university.
* *Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license* with the NYS Office of Professions.
* At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-5 years and their families (preferred).
* DOH Approval is great, but not a must.
* Ability to independently set and manage a caseload, process documentation in a timely manner and effectively communicate with families and Bloomer Health personnel.
