Cash Data In Cash Data domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business smoothly. The clients that are using and benefiting from the results of our work are well-known multinational corporates, many of which you know and use their products. The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and off-balance sheet investments. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals. As a Senior Data Engineer (f/m/x) you'll be part of the team responsible for building Big Data platform capabilities, including ingesting pipelines, big data processing pipelines and data preparation. Your key responsibilities Enhance Data Platform built around Clickhouse and BigQuery Implement hybrid Clickhouse architecture, i.e. migrate existing on-prem live solution into a hybrid setup Optimize data storage and processing for speed and efficiency Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality We value code quality, refactoring and engineering best practices and expect that from you as well Your skills and experiences Strong experience working with Distributed Columnar Databases, e.g. Redshift, Clickhouse, BigQuery Strong hands-on Java / Kotlin experience in coding self-developed tools around distributed Clusters, e.g. Backup, Monitoring Understanding modern micro-services architecture and ability to make changes in the microservices around Data Platform Strong communication skills, good written and spoken English What we offer: We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.
