Hennis Care Centre of Dover is a 4th generation family-owned and operated skilled nursing facility. We feature a diverse population of residents across our rehab, assisted living, and memory care units. We pride ourselves in doing things differently than traditional corporate facilities in the more personal way that we care for our residents and employees.
Our facility has four distinct units: Rehab, Memory Care, Long-term Care, and Transitional Therapy. We are looking for a talented and personable nurse to fill the role of Clinical Nurse Unit Manager in at our facility. This is a vital position where you will be responsible for driving the positive culture of your team as well as the quality of the care they deliver.
*Responsibilities*
* Oversee care of patients
* Involvement in daily operations of the unit
* Communicate with the pharmacy
* Develop Care Plans & Chart Review
* Lead Staff Education and Performance Improvement
* Coach and develop your team, including disciplinary action when necessary
* Use customer service skills to support patients and families in achieving their goals
*Qualifications*
* RN with an active license _(5+ yrs preferred)_
* Proven leadership ability _(1+ yrs preferred)_
* Strong clinical experience _(varied settings is a plus)_
* Familiarity with long-term care regulations _(preferred, but not required)_
* Knowledge of developing care plans and chart review _(1+ yrs preferred)_
* Able to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
* Ability to communicate complex clinical information in simple terms

Shift Hours: 3:00 pm -11:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
