This will be responsible for the design, installation, and startup of process equipment and components. Candidates must have extensive design experience with demonstrated project management skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, installation, and startup processes for major equipment projects throughout the global organization. Coordinate with global manufacturing groups regarding new equipment design, tooling design, equipment installation, exp. Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment. Tooling and fixture design. Reverse engineering. Working with vendors. Equipment training, process and drawing documentation. Systematic problem solving skills. Process capability, PFMEA, SPC, GR&R and other quality tools. Mandatory Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of applicable experience. Technical Expert in SolidWorks (Parts, Assemblies and Drawings). Extensive experience in designing high-speed manufacturing equipment (Design, Fabrication, Installation and Training of personnel). Extensive experience in tooling design and fabrication. Extensive experience in mechanical assembly and equipment troubleshooting. Preferred Requirements:
Proficient with precision measuring tools and working with close tolerances. Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Word and Excel). Proficient in ACAD. Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Position could require some domestic and international travel working on projects related to the development, testing and evaluation of industrial equipment for production facilities.
