Salary: CHF 120’000 - 150’000 per year

Requirements:
  • You have a university degree in computer science or comparable experience.
  • You have a valid Swiss working permit.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with distributed systems like Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink or Trino.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Data Warehouses or disitrbuted storage systems like S3 Object Stores, Apache HDFS or Hive.
  • Strong expertise of IaC principles, and with working knowledge of Ansible, Puppet or Helm.
  • Hands-on experience with Container platforms as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience of Linux administration, especially on-prem systems.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with strong skills in building and managing infrastructure.
  • Fluent in German or French. English proficiency.
  • Willingness to work 2-3 days per week in the Zürich office.
Responsibilities:
  • You design, build, operate, and maintain modern data analytics platforms.
  • You automate platform lifecycles according to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • You contribute to data engineering development activities.
  • You are also responsible for checking, auditing, and troubleshooting existing solutions and system architectures.
  • You get involved in Scigility internally, e.g.:
  • Help shape our technology strategy
  • Participate in pre-sales activities
  • Be a mentor for new-joiners
