À propos
We’re looking for a motivated and technically curious Junior ML Engineer to join our hybrid‑working London team. You’ll play a key role in developing machine learning workflows, building scalable pipelines, and contributing to intelligent decision‑making systems that power next‑generation industrial optimisation.
This is a rare opportunity to join an early‑stage, high‑growth AI startup, working alongside experienced engineers and founders who are building mission‑critical technology for large enterprise clients operating critical infrastructure. You’ll gain exposure to cloud engineering, multimodal LLMs, predictive modelling, and emerging AI techniques — all while shaping a platform designed for reliability, scalability, and intelligence.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimise machine learning workflows, including predictive modelling, anomaly detection, and decision‑making systems
Support the design and maintenance of cloud‑based infrastructure (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
Contribute to data pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and scaling across production environments
Work with multi‑modal LLMs — combining text, images, and sensor data — to support real‑time operational intelligence
Explore advanced approaches such as RAG, reinforcement learning, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to shape product direction, technical decisions, and engineering best practices
⚙ Assist with taking prototypes through to robust, production‑ready systems
Benefits
Rapid Career Growth
– Work closely with founding engineers, take on real responsibility, and accelerate your development in ML, cloud, and MLOps.
Innovation Culture
– Join a startup that values experimentation, deep technical curiosity, and problem‑solving.
Hybrid Flexibility
– Balance home working with time in our London environment for collaboration and rapid iteration.
High‑Impact Work
– Build systems used by enterprise clients operating critical infrastructure — your work truly matters.
Competitive Package
– £40k base salary, with potential for equity as the company grows.
Qualifications
BSc or above in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong Python skills and experience with ML frameworks and tooling
☁️ Exposure to at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, AWS)
Understanding of ML workflows — especially anomaly detection, predictive modelling, and model evaluation
Familiarity with MLOps concepts such as deployment, monitoring, and reproducibility
Interest in multi‑modal LLMs and emerging techniques (RAG, RL, MCP)
Startup mindset — adaptable, hands‑on, and comfortable working in fast‑moving environments
Apply now and help build the future of intelligent industrial operations.
