Salaried GP  Location: Bolton Contract: Now – March 2026 Systems: EMIS Web & SystmOne (site dependent) Clinical Template: 25 patient contacts, 40 mins admin, 1 home visit (flexible based on preference) Job Summary Our established PCN is seeking a Qualified GP to join its collaborative, high-performing network of practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a developing GP to gain broad clinical exposure, strong support, and long-term stability. You will deliver a range of duties outlined in the GMS contract, including consultations, clinical administration, prescribing responsibilities, and continuity of care across PCN sites. Main Responsibilities Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for a wide range of clinical presentations Undertake home visits and nursing home reviews as required Manage repeat prescriptions, medication queries, and clinical documentation Screen patients for risk factors, early signs of illness, and chronic disease indicators Lead on clinical decision-making for undifferentiated and complex cases Request, interpret, and action diagnostic tests, ensuring appropriate follow-up Make timely referrals to secondary care or other healthcare providers Develop personalised care and treatment plans in line with NICE and local guidance Maintain accurate, high-standard clinical notes using EMIS or SystmOne Take part in clinical audits, learning events, and practice meetings Prescribe safely and appropriately, following formulary and BNF guidance Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and wider Federation staff Contribute to PCN and Federation performance indicators and service prioritiesAbout You Confident in managing a broad primary care caseload Able to work flexibly across PCN sites using EMIS and/or SystmOne Strong communicator with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care Motivated to contribute to service improvement and local primary care developmentApply Now: Email (url removed) or call Andrew on (phone number removed)
