Myna Therapy Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic healthcare team in a PRN capacity. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, with a special focus on pediatrics. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping individuals of all ages enhance their speech, language, and overall communication abilities, empowering them to lead more confident and connected lives. *Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing issues
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals
* Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions for pediatric patients
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physicians, occupational therapists, and educators to coordinate care strategies
* Educate patients and their families on communication techniques and strategies for ongoing support at home
* Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
* Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and incorporate new techniques into patient care
*Skills*
* Proven experience working in pediatric environments is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of pediatric development and physiology related to speech and swallowing functions
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards diverse populations
* Proficiency in conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and clinical observation methods
* Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and anatomy knowledge of the vocal apparatus
* Ability to implement early intervention strategies effectively for young children at risk or with developmental delays
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, patients, and families in a clear and supportive manner
*Education Requirements*
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Dakota.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
* Familiarity with pediatric speech and language development is a plus.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
