We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to deliver effective treatments tailored to individual needs. The Massage Therapist will play a vital role in enhancing client satisfaction through exceptional patient service and personalized care.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client concerns.
* Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
* Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices to support their ongoing wellness.
* Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, including client progress and treatment outcomes.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients during each session.
* Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy, physiology, and medical terminology to continually improve service quality.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and empathetically.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction.
* Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
* Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques preferred.
* Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa procedures is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to effectively assess patient needs and explain treatment options.
* Ability to work in a professional environment while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to health standards.
* Prior experience in med spas or wellness centers is desirable but not mandatory.
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
Work Location: In person
