The ideal candidate will have a dedicated work ethic, great communication skills, and strong ability to tailor massage treatment based on client’s areas of concern. We have a great reputation for getting results for our clients, so you must be willing to incorporate our techniques. Our paid onboarding and training phase will prepare you to seamlessly integrate with our team and clientele. We are looking for a long-term fit and strongly believe we have created a great working environment. We meet regularly as a team to check-in on team & client satisfaction, trade techniques, and learn about the latest treatments for pain.
Responsibilities:
* Provide therapeutic massage treatments to reduce chronic pain, aid injury recovery, and improve joint range of motion
* Provide additional treatments such as infrared sauna, stretching, (training provided)
* Check-out and re-book clients using Mangomint, collect payments (Training Provided)
* Complete SOAP notes for each session
* Clean & disinfect treatment room before & after appointments, reset table linens and restock treatment supplies
* Assist with general cleanliness and restocking of wellness studio, assist with washing, folding, and restocking laundry
* Arrive 20 minutes before scheduled appointments
Qualifications:
* Must be willing to learn and share knowledge
* Advanced anatomy knowledge preferred
* Strong desire to improve function and wellness in others
* Desirable modalities include *prenatal & postnatal,* medical/orthopedic massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point, myofascial release, cupping, structural integration, ortho-bionomy/SMRT and stretching…willingness to learn new techniques!
* Current VA Massage Therapy License
* Current liability insurance
* Current CPR Certification
