We are looking for a Senior UX designer to take Seccl to the next stage of our product growth journey. At an exciting inflection point as an API‑first company built on strong foundations, we empower customers to build solutions on top of our platform. Now we are ready to take the next step by transforming how we think, design and deliver experiences through adviser and investor‑facing UIs and portals. As a Senior UX designer you will act as a visionary, leading the evolution of design best practice and ensuring creative excellence in every aspect of our work. You will work across a variety of teams and product initiatives, leading challenging and innovative projects to offer best‑in‑class digital experiences. This high‑impact, high‑ownership role is ideal for someone who combines sharp product thinking, strong UX skills and a passion for simplifying complexity. Opportunities
Shape the role of design within our product and engineering‑led culture, introducing customer‑centred thinking into a space that is ready to scale and innovate. Act as the trusted adviser to product leadership, shaping scalable, user‑first design whilst remaining hands on designing the product and a scalable design system. Create the UX strategy and roadmap for a fast‑growing fintech that wants to disrupt an outdated industry. Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather user feedback through various methods to understand customer needs and pain points. Lead the UX for product initiatives, representing the voice of the customer to directly improve the overall customer experience, ultimately reducing friction and increasing efficiencies. Contribute to multiple high‑performing, autonomous squads where your ideas will directly influence our success. Typical Day
Design and optimise end‑to‑end customer journeys across mobile and web platforms to address pain points, drive business outcomes, and deliver value for our customers. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to co‑create solutions that are technically feasible and commercially impactful. Define UX approaches and research plans across initiatives and teams. Engage directly with customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure the product delivers real value. Use both quantitative and qualitative data to inform evidence‑based decisions. Qualifications
Experience in UX design within cross‑platform environments, including web and mobile features in a B2C or D2C setting. Comfort with data and insights to guide decisions, and experience in customer research methods. Keen eye for detail, strong visual design skills, and the ability to translate complex user journeys into simple, intuitive interfaces. Clear bias for action and proactivity; take initiative to spot opportunities, gather insights, and move things forward even when the path isn’t fully defined. Ability to bring clarity to ambiguity, structuring problems and shaping them into actionable work. Empathy for others through mentorship, sharing knowledge, and modelling high standards. Not for You
Reliance on top‑down direction; here you have the freedom and ownership to shape your own progression. Discomfort in a fast‑paced environment; you need to act quickly and think on your feet. Lacking follow‑through on ideas; you must do what you say you will do. Aversion to change; you should relish ambiguity of rapid growth and embrace uncertainty. Benefits
