Sunderland Electric is looking for licensed electricians to join our crew for full-time commercial and industrial projects in the New Haven and Hartford areas. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Licensed Electrician at Sunderland Electric, you'll take the lead on delivering quality, code-compliant electrical work across a wide range of commercial and industrial environments. Typical responsibilities include:

• Installing conduit (EMT/rigid), power wiring, outlets, and lighting systems
• Interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting system issues on the job
• Wiring panels, switchgear, transformers, and low-voltage systems (Cat 6, fire alarms)
• Working on a range of projects: apartment buildings, hospitals, retail, federal work and industrial fuel plants
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant job site

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We're looking for professionals who take pride in their work and show up ready to solve problems. Here's what makes someone a great fit:

Required:

• Connecticut Electrician License (active and in good standing)
• Commercial or industrial experience (training available)
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot independently
• Dependable, safety-minded, and works well with a crew

Bonus If You Have:

• Experience leading teams or running small jobs
• Background in a leadership role or fire alarm/data systems
• Interest in advancing to foreman or project management roles
