Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and enhancing patients' mobility, strength, and overall well-being. This engaging position is based in the outpatient clinical setting where you will work with children and their families to enhance their overall quality of life and mobility. You will utilize your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to develop comprehensive care plans and discharge strategies that promote optimal recovery. Your energetic approach will inspire pediatric patients aged 0 to 21 years; empowering them to achieve their health goals through targeted interventions and compassionate care.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, pain levels, and functional limitations.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing evidence-based physiotherapy techniques .
* Deliver hands-on therapy sessions in an outpatient private clinic setting tailoring approaches to each patient’s unique needs.
* Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding their child's POC along with development of home activity and exercise programs.
* Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including progress notes, treatment plans, and outcome measures.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
* Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices, anatomy knowledge, and healthcare regulations to deliver top-tier patient care.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care efficiency, and treatment outcomes.
*Experience*
* Demonstrated success in outpatient clinics or private practice with pediatrics experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy fundamentals essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management is required.
* Prior involvement in discharge planning processes that facilitate smooth patient transitions across care settings.
* Experience and understanding of various DME and AE along with wheelchair fitting and modification is required.

Pay: $42.70 - $51.42 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
