*Summary*: AFC Urgent Care is looking for part and full time X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist to staff our brand new, state of the art urgent care centers in Haverhill, Beverly, Swampscott, North Andover & Methuen, MA. Our ideal candidate has all the qualifications listed below, but that's only part of it.
The most important part: you treat our patients with the respect, love and care that you'd treat a member of your own family.
Everyone walking through our doors is there because they're sick and need help. We're here to send them home with a smile. If we can't do that, we've failed. Successful candidates for this position will never need to be told this twice.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
*Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):*
* Perform all diagnostic x-rays
* Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
* Assist in patient care to ensure speedy patient flow and to optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization
* Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
* Assist in maintaining equipment
* Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area
*Qualifications and Skills*
*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
* ARRT Certification.
* Current Massachusetts licensure or permit to practice medical imagining.
* Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
* Phlebotomy is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred but not required
* Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
