We’re seeking an experienced senior conference producer (defence or related background) to lead content strategy for a high-profile, Africa-focused defence event series. You’ll shape the programme, attract senior government / industry speakers, manage advisory boards & drive alignment with commercial and diplomatic goals.
You will:
Lead content strategy and development
Conduct research on defence trends across Africa
Curate high-level summits and seminars
Partner with sales / marketing to boost brand and monetisation
Engage key stakeholders including governments and advisory boards
Requirements You should have :
7–10+ years in conference production / content leadership (preferably defence / policy)
Experience delivering senior-level government / C‑suite events
Strong research, writing & stakeholder‑management skills
Strategically minded with excellent execution ability
Formal, diplomatic communication style; cross‑cultural awareness
