The purpose for which the Laguna Rainbow Corporation was formed is to deliver culturally responsive long-term care programs and services, residential and community-based, to elderly citizens residing on or near the Laguna Indian Reservation.
*Responsibilities:*
* Train and oversee community staff to perform thorough health assessments on all new residents, monitor the health status of all current residents, and assure resident assessments and care plans are entered into the clinical systems software.
* Monitor community activity including initiating actions as required in improving residents’ health status.
* Support in hiring, coaching, orientating, scheduling, training, and evaluating of staff as needed.
* Conduct community audits as required of current operational systems to ensure staff compliance with policy and procedure.
* Support the Administrator in maintaining compliance with all local, state, federal and licensing rules and regulations associated with the licensure of the building as they pertain to clinical and risk management activities.
* Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.
* Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
*Requirements:*
* Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
* Associate Degree required or a Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred in nursing.
* Registered Nurse RN - State specific accreditation or license required.
* Must have proven clinical and leadership expertise.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong personnel skills, and positive community relations skills are essential.
* Be a experienced Registered Nurse, RN
* Experience in State Rules and Regulations, and Risk Management.
* Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
