This position is adding to our team (not taking over a caseload).
Kid’s RehabGYM is a non-profit organization located in Williston, VT. We are passionate about supporting children with special needs and their families. Our highly skilled pediatric physical and occupational therapists provide evidence informed services for children throughout the Vermont North Country and beyond. Our Physical Therapists treat children with congenital, developmental, neurological disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In addition, our PT team also provides orthopedic intervention, postural asymmetry, toe walking, pes planus, joint pain or abnormalities, torticollis, and fractures.
We are currently seeking a full-time physical therapist. KRG is looking for a PT who is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate, client/family-focused, and evidenced-informed intervention and treatment planning to a diverse pediatric population. This individual should be self-driven, work well within a team, and possess a high ability for problem-solving, flexibility, and self-directed learning. Additionally, the individual must possess the ability to independently perform evaluations and assessments; create and carry out appropriate treatment plans, parent/caregiver education and training with home exercise programs; communicate with pediatricians and referring physicians and be able to complete documentation and discharge planning in a timely manner.
As a small and experienced team of PTs and OTs, we would welcome a new PT graduate who has a strong passion for treating a pediatric population and who is willing to learn from a variety of clinicians. We feel confident that KRG can provide a nurturing and fast paced environment to allow a new clinician to grow into an accomplished professional.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
