CNC Machinist

Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC operator/setter/programmer with the CNC/Precision Machinist Certificate with a minimum of two years of experience in setting, programming and operating CNC lathes/mills with Fanuc, Haas and Mitsubishi controllers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be capable of:

• Set up and operate computer controlled Lathe, Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills and Vertical Lathe
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Mastercam) on Fanuc, Haas and Mitsubishi
• Ability to set up CNC machines from scratch (tooling, work offsets, zeroing, fixture setup)
• Tool path optimization for cycle time and tool life
• Strong troubleshooting skills for machining issues, chatter, tool wear, and dimensional errors
• Use, maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of precision measuring equipment and inspection reports ( CMM familiarity is an asset)
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
• The General Machinist Certificate or related training certificates is a great asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour
