We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate *General Dentist* to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in comprehensive patient care, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric dentistry. *Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
* Perform various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, restorations, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
* Utilize digital imaging and radiography techniques while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
* Maintain accurate and detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and treatment options using clear dental terminology.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and optimal patient outcomes.
* Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities and applying new techniques as appropriate.
* Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including infection control procedures and medical documentation protocols.
*Qualifications*
* DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution; state licensure required.
* Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix preferred.
* Experience in general dentistry with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, or oral surgery is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
* Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other restorative procedures efficiently.
* Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively.
* Prior experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is preferred.
* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
