As
Director of Government Sales - Agriculture & Disaster Management , you will lead Tomorrow.io’s public-sector engagement across agriculture, water, and disaster resilience. You will drive partnerships with
Ministries of Agriculture ,
National Disaster Management Agencies ,
Meteorological and Hydrological Services , and
International Donor Programs
to advance
climate-smart agriculture ,
early warning systems , and
community resilience initiatives .
You will own the full sales cycle, from strategy and market development to execution and quota attainment, while representing Tomorrow.io at the highest levels of government and the development community.
What you’ll do:
Up to
25% domestic and international
travel to meet with customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
Manage the
end-to-end aviation and maritime sales cycle , from prospecting to closing multi-year public-sector contracts.
Build and maintain relationships with Ministries of Agriculture, Disaster Management Agencies, Meteorological Services, and International Donors.
Lead channel and partner management, expanding Tomorrow.io’s reach in key markets.
Manage RFPs, tenders, and donor-funded programs (FAO, IFAD, World Bank, ADB, UNDP, etc.).
Represent Tomorrow.io at agriculture, resilience, and climate events worldwide.
Work cross-functionally to tailor solutions for climate-smart agriculture, early warning, and resilience programs.
Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
What you bring:
Fluency in English.
Additional languages are a plus.
10+ years of government
or institutional sales experience.
Proven success selling to public-sector or enterprise customers,
ideally in SaaS, data, or technology solutions; experience in agriculture, environment, or disaster management sectors is highly valued.
Knowledge of climate-smart agriculture, early warning systems, and disaster risk reduction frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex tenders and multi-stakeholder donor programs.
Experience developing strategic partnerships with ministries, NGOs, and international organizations.
Consistent record of quota achievement and data-driven pipeline management.
Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up or growth-stage environment.
Self-motivated, strategic, and mission-driven, with strong ownership and results focus.
