*Position Summary*
On Call Computer Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Azure Architect to join our Professional Services team.
As a member of our Migrations team, this person would be responsible for executing Azure networking deployments for O365 GCC High Migrations.
The ideal candidate for the role will possess deep knowledge and proficiencies with Azure Gov, a broad skillset across other Microsoft 365 technologies, and the ability to communicate and lead customers effectively in a consulting capacity, as well as an Azure Administrator certificate, or equivalent experience. (Powershell scripting experience is a must-have)
*Job Summary*
The Azure Architect is responsible for working within a project management team to deliver and develop custom Azure solutions to our customers. The Azure Architect will serve as the subject matter expert with respect to Azure, cloud applications and system administration.
*Essential Functions*
* Participate in the development, customization, and integration efforts of solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and migrating into a GCC High Environment
* Develop solutions that meet the client's requirements and constraints
* Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet hard deadlines
* Develop Azure designs and implementation plans based upon the customer requirements
* Act as the *technical authority* and point of escalation for cloud solution design decisions.
* Mentor Azure engineers and administrators; provide *standards, best practices, and reusable patterns*.

*Job Specifications*
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or MIS from a reputable institute with 3 years or more of relevant experience
* US Citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check
* Experience with the following software and technologies: Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Azure Active Directory
* Proficiency in DNS, Active Directory, Intune, Azure Active Directory, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint and how they integrate with the larger Microsoft collaboration platform
* Expert knowledge in Azure, O365 GCC High migrations and implementations
* Knowledge of Azure networking and infrastructure concepts
* Knowledge on migrating on-premises applications to Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS
* Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development
* Knowledge of security toolsets like Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Policy
* Experience with Office 365 GCC High, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53
Optional / Desired
* Security clearance
* Expert knowledge of Azure Firewall
* Having passed any of the following Microsoft Exams: Microsoft 365 - MS-100, MS-101, MS-203, MS-600

*Work Conditions*
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. May occasionally need to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these solutions. May be working hours into the evening completing migrations due to the sensitive nature of the work, but we have a comprehensive PTO and Comp Time plan, if you do the 40 hours you can take time off if your work is completed early in the week!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement network infrastructure solutions in accordance with the SDLC.
- Manage and maintain WAN and LAN networks, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including VPNs and HTTPS protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Utilize network management tools to monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Automate network configuration using tools such as Ansible.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing network infrastructure solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
- Experience with openSUSE or other Linux distributions.
- Familiarity with high availability concepts and technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve network issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $110,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
