As an Engineering Manager in Ads Quality, you will lead a team of experienced product and ML engineers focused on building and scaling systems that help us provide users with the best ads experience while driving XXXM$ a year in impact. We are looking for Software Engineering Managers with technical experience and experience of managing engineers in a dynamic environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction, driving execution, fostering efficiency and collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the experience of our users across the globe.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of generalist and ML software engineers
Set clear expectations and create a work environment based on accountability
Mentor and support engineers' growth and success, help them to find and focus on their strengths
Champion engineering and operational efficiency, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
Work effectively with Cross‑Functional roles to define and execute product strategy and roadmaps
Partner with leadership to influence and drive organization design, contribution and prioritization
Minimum Qualifications
Proven track record of supporting engineering teams
Experience in partnering with product managers and delivering user‑centric solutions
Problem‑solving skills and background in coding
Practical experience with AI/ML technologies in a production environment
BS/MS in Computer Science (In lieu of a degree, relevant work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Ads
Experience in auction theory, causal learning and/or user behaviour modelling
Experience in state‑of‑the‑art ML technologies
