is seeking an experienced and highly motivated
QA & Automation Test Engineer
responsible for testing, maintenance, and ongoing support for the platform. The role acts as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay at the forefront of QA & automation testing technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
Identify weaknesses and target areas in software applications.
Develop ideas for automated testing procedures.
Check, report, and identify problem areas.
Design and install software databases.
Identify quality issues and generate test reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience as an automation test engineer.
Knowledge of automation systems, databases, and programming skills.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java and VBScript.
Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills are a plus.

ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
Location and Salary Slough, Berkshire, UK. Salary: £40,000 to £50,000
