Overview Lead Architecture & Innovation as a Solutions Architect at Leighton. We are looking for an expert technical leader to architect and implement scalable, high-performance cloud-native solutions while effectively managing stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Role Highlights
Architect & Lead:
Design and implement enterprise-level software solutions, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing.
Cloud & DevSecOps Expertise:
Spearhead cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and drive DevSecOps best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with CXOs, product leaders, security teams, and engineering to align technology strategies with business objectives.
Technical Governance:
Lead and optimise architecture review boards to ensure compliance, performance, and scalability.
Strategic Leadership:
Define and drive architectural strategies for security, API design, SDLC, observability, and cloud platforms.
Innovation & Mentorship:
Develop high-performing engineering teams, mentoring technical leads, architects, and developers.

What We’re Looking For An AWS Solutions Architect with:
Proven experience in Enterprise, Solutions or Cloud Architecture roles.
Deep cloud expertise (AWS) and hands-on experience with serverless computing, microservices, and API design.
Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Exceptional stakeholder management skills—able to translate technical concepts into business value for executives and leadership teams.
Expertise in agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and large-scale cloud migrations.
Experience leading and managing technical teams.
