National Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary therapy practice that has been serving children and families for over 30 years. We are committed to providing high-quality services in a nurturing and supportive environment.
*Position Overview:*
We seek a part-time, contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services under our DC Equitable Services contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a school or clinical setting and be passionate about supporting students’ communication needs.
*Essential Functions:*
* Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with its Service Plans (SP)
* Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
* Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress reports
* Participate in SP meetings and provide professional input on student performance and goals
* Adhere to all federal and state regulations and company policies
*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (for example, therapy materials or equipment)
* Regularly communicate with students, parents, and staff, which requires clear speech and hearing
* Travel between school sites and therapy locations as needed

*Qualifications:*
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Valid licensure as an SLP in Washington, DC
* ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
* Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
*Bonus Qualifications:*
* Bi-lingual is preferred but not required.
*Additional Information:*
* This is a part-time, contract position with no more than 24 hours per week.
* Hours: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday
