Job Description:

The client requires a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible to act as a bridge between the business team and the technology team by identifying business needs and documenting them for use in developing a solution for the New Brunswick Cancer Screening's Lung and HPV Screening Solution.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation of workshops and information gathering sessions including the creation of supporting materials such as presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, etc.

· Documentation of as is and to be business processes and standard operating procedures using such tools as business process modelling notation (BPMN)

· Documentation of functional and non-functional business requirements, gap analysis, and user stories/use cases as it relates to new or changing program needs

· Translate business requirements into User Stories and manage them using Jira (or similar tool).

· Documentation to support training activities including reference guides and tools

· Document operational framework to support operational program delivery.

· Facilitating iterative development, manage changing requirements, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

· Creating and managing user stories, epics, and tasks, ensuring clear and traceable requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

· Grooming backlogs using Jira to prioritize features based on business value, stakeholder input, and technical feasibility.

· Other duties and tasks assigned.


Requirements

Mandatory Requirements:

· M1 - A University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is required. Yes

· M2 - A minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated IM/IT experience. 6 years

· M3 - A minimum of six (6) years in the role of a Senior Business Analyst or Product Owner with demonstrated experience in the following: business requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, user story creation, backlog grooming and refinement, and business process/workflow design activities. 6 years

· M4 - A minimum of two (2) months demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on a Healthcare project in New Brunswick. 2 months

· M5 - A recognized Business Analysis Certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP). Please provide certification details and dates when certifications achieved. Yes

· M6 - Demonstrated competency in communication skills (written and spoken) in English.


Scored Requirements:

· S1 - Demonstrated experience in coordinating and facilitating workshops and information sessions with stakeholders to define, validate, and prioritize business processes and requirements - 8 years

· S2 -Demonstrated experience in documenting workflows, business processes, and standard operating procedures - 8 years

· S3 -Demonstrated experience in documenting both functional and non-functional business requirements, user stories, and/or gap analysis - 8 years

· S4 -Demonstrated experience owning a product backlog, collaborating with development teams to groom or refine the product backlog. This includes breaking down larger user stories into smaller, more manageable tasks, ensuring each story has clear acceptance criteria, and re-prioritizing based on business needs or new information - 8 years

· S5 - Demonstrated experience that illustrates proficient use of Jira (or similar tool) for managing product backlogs, creating and tracking user stories, epics, and tasks - 6 years

· S6 - Demonstrated experience configuring and administering Salesforce, specifically objects and fields, having leveraged this knowledge to accurately document user stories, ensuring proper mapping of requirements to Salesforce data models and workflows for seamless integration with business processes - 2 years

· S7 - A minimum of two (2) months demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on a Government Cancer Screening Program implementation - 2 months

· S8 - Demonstrated experience designing address management for healthcare systems, specifically capturing requirements to correctly identify patients, link records across multiple systems, validate and correct patient addresses, and ensure communications such as appointment reminders, test results are triggered correctly based on business rules - 2 months

· S9 - Demonstrated experience building data migration mappings, transformations, and lookups for the migration of a legacy data to a new cloud-based healthcare system. Specifically experience with patient, appointment, and test result data migration - 2 months
