Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement individualized care plans and support goals
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
- Promote independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
Skills:
- Experience in hospice care, social work, or dementia care is a plus
- Ability to lift and assist with heavy lifting as needed
- Knowledge of working with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disabilities
- Previous experience in childcare or direct support roles is beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to provide transportation services as needed
- Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is preferred

Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
