Position

Position within Animal Health Global Supply Chain Management, and more specifically in Supply Chain Excellence department (AH GSCM-SCE). You will report to the Head of Master Data Governance in a team made of 3 employees.

Your responsibility will be to provide assistance in the development and execution of data strategy activities and initiatives for AH Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM&LCM). This includes tasks related to:

  • data governance,
  • data quality,
  • data management and advanced analytics.

Additionally, you will contribute towards the creation of data-driven strategies that are in alignment with the company's business objectives.

Tasks & responsibilities

To successfully fulfill your mission, you will be required to:

Data management:
  • Identify relevant data sources that align with the organization's data requirements and objectives.
  • Extract data from various identified sources, transform it into a suitable format, and load it into the organization's data management system which has to be designed.
  • Design and develop data models that effectively organize and structure data for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Work closely with the performance team to understand their data needs and requirements, and support the implementation of data-driven decision-making tools.
Data quality:
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the completeness and consistency of data across the organization.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data quality and identify areas for improvement.
Data governance:
  • Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the consistent and effective management of data across the organization.
  • Establish a data governance framework that defines roles, responsibilities, and processes for data management, data quality, data privacy, data security and data use.
Data Science Techniques:
  • Apply data science techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and data mining, to derive actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the manager to implement data science projects and experiments.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including GBS, IT, business units, and GSCM&LCM team members, to gather requirements, understand business needs, and support data-driven solutions from Performance team.
  • Communicate complex concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
Continuous Learning and Development:
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques related to data strategy, data science, and analytics.
  • Actively participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

In your role, you will work in an international and multicultural environment with:

  • Performance and Forecasting Excellence teams in GSCM-SCE
  • GSCM&LCM departments, including L&CM, Distribution, and SNT
  • Corporate GBS department
  • Corporate IT department

All while handling strategic and confidential data, ensuring its integrity and security in a GxP environment.

Desired Profile

Holder of a Master's or Engineer degree in Data Science or Business Intelligence, you can show a previous similar experience (including internships or apprenticeships, if applicable), ideally in a pharmaceutical environment or a Supply Chain department.

Required skills to successfully carry out your mission:

Bilingual in English (minimum level C1)
Excellent mastery of Microsoft suite
Excellent demonstrated mastery of PowerBI supported by several successes
Proficiency in SQL and a database
Knowledge of Supply Chain is a plus
