Overview

In the Data Historian team, which currently consists of 7 people, has the aim to realise the data connection from the Isolator (Skan's core product) to the Data Historian (AVEVA PI). The team has already developed the first Skan products for this purpose, which have generated great demand. However, we still have many more ideas to offer more value to our customers. The team currently consists of five AVEVA PI specialists who focus on the technical implementation of existing products and the development of new ones, a product manager and a coordinator who organises the numerous AVEVA PI sub-projects. As a team member you can also develop your skills as a consultant on client projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage meaningful AVEVA PI (formerly OSIsoftPI) projects with customers around the world
• Work on automatisation features and advanced algorithms on time series
• Clarification of customer requirements with the customer
• Further development of our products and digital solutions
• Installation and configuration of AVEVA PI Server & connectivity (OPC, PI Cloud Connect) in the area of Data Historian / Data Intelligence
• Creating the AF structure, EF, analysis and notifications
• Creation of concepts, as well as layout & design of the data infrastructure (data collection, aggregation, visualisation)
• Creating GMP qualification documentation
• Carrying out tests, commissioning and user training with our customers

Hardskills

• Bachelor or Master degree in (e.g. Automation, Computer Science), or you have acquired the equivalent level of knowledge through experience
• Excellent knowledge and Experience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning PI Server and interfaces e.g. PI AF, PI Vision, PI analytics and PI interfaces
• A solid understanding of the OSIsoft PI system platforms and experience designing, planning, and deploying performant system architectures
• Experience in networks, servers and operating systems and in application programming (VB, VBA, .NET etc.)
• Preferably experience in project management within life sciences or chemistry (GAMP, CSV)
• Proficiency in English is required, knowledge of German is an advantage
