*Job Summary:*
To provide leadership and oversight to the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) department. This role balances clinical expertise with administrative and team leadership, ensuring the highest quality of communication and feeding services for students with medically complex needs. The Speech Therapy Supervisor manages department operations, supervises staff, and maintains small caseload of direct therapy services. This individual also collaborates closely with school leadership, representing the speech therapy department and communication, AAC, and feeding programs, on organization-wide initiatives to guide policy, projects, program development, curriculum and strategic planning.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· Developing caseload and staffing ratios annually to ensure quality services and documentation
· Monitoring documentation to ensure compliance with HMS standards and best practices
· Developing and revising policies and procedures for the Speech Department.
· Leading weekly department relaying pertinent information and creating plans to implement processes
· Maintaining and recommending necessary equipment and supplies to supervisor.
· Staff Performance Management
· Manages schedules and timesheets of Speech Department staff members
· Partner with school-wide leadership to develop and refine policies related to IEP implementation, communication and feeding protocols, and therapeutic best practices.
· Represent the Speech Therapy Department in leadership meetings and serve as a liaison between therapists, administrators, and external stakeholders.
· Performing and documenting pre-admission evaluations.
· Participating in multidisciplinary discussions of current, future and non-enrolled students.
· *Maintains reduced student caseload*
*Education and Experience*_:_
· Master's Degree from an accredited school in Speech/Language Pathology
· PA certification: Teacher of the Speech and Language Impaired
· Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) from ASHA
· PA Licensure or equivalent with intent to obtain.
* Five years of clinical experience, with at least two years of supervisory experience, required.

Schedule:
· Typically works Monday to Friday 8:45am-4:00pm with the ability to Flex your schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,079.00 - $87,784.00 per year
