Cloverdale Paint has an immediate opening for a full-time Assistant Branch Manager position at our store in Cranbrook, BC. The successful candidate should have previous customer service experience and a positive attitude.
This individual should be available to work for 5 shifts per week with open availability.
Wage is negotiable based on previous experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a customer service leader, actively and visibly participating in customer service on the sales floor.
- Foster an environment where customer orders are expedited efficiently, including the hands-on practice of taking orders, picking orders, tinting orders, compiling orders, and shipping orders, in adherence with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards and company HR policies.
- Lead and mentor new employees through initial training and foster a learning environment within the branch for all staff.
- Run reports, identify outstanding accounts, contact customers, assess situations, issue credit holds and report to Branch Manager weekly.
- Process payments on accounts daily.
- Foster a safe working environment in which continuous improvements to safe work practices and branch conditions are encouraged.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years experience managing a store
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lb regularly
- Capable of standing for long periods of time
- Previous paint experience is an asset, but not a requirement
- Genuine caring about people and business results
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to complete work in a timely and consistent manner

Pay: $23.60-$25.00 per hour
