About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Senior Business Developer/Fund Sales to join our Zurich headquarters as part of our dynamic team of asset management professionals. As a member of the Asset Management team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Drive business development efforts regarding our investment solutions with a focus on private banks, family offices, external asset managers, institutional and crypto native investors.
  • Manage existing client relationships across Switzerland (and potentially selected European markets) on a daily basis and expand the network across designated client segments and regions.
  • Act as specialist on Asset Management Solutions towards Sygnum bank relationship managers.
  • Lead on product specific sales campaigns and client events for asset management topics (including webinars and educational outreaches).
  • Collaborate with the full asset management team in further developing our asset management offering.
  • Drive asset management roadshows in designated regions.
  • Act as thought leader in direct client interactions but also as speaker in external seminars and panels, ensuring the firm's crypto offerings are top of mind for clients.
  • Cross-selling of other banking services to designated client segments.

What we expect

  • Minimum 8 years’ proven experience and track record in a business development/sales capacity within an asset management environment in a client-facing role.
  • Existing network within client segments of private banks, family offices and external asset managers (network within other institutional investors is a plus) in Switzerland (European markets is a plus) or with crypto native investors.
  • Strong knowledge of asset management markets and products.
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of crypto currencies and blockchain.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business is a plus.
  • High level of client service skills and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong ownership, relentlessly resourceful, enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Fluent in German and English. French and/or Italian is a plus.
