Your role

Do you want to drive the next level of application architecture in the Compliance IT space? Would you like to apply Agile at scale while developing state of the art Model Deployment and Execution Platform on Cloud?

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer to:

1. design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
2. apply a broad range of software engineering techniques, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing, CI/CD and other DevOps practices
3. ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
4. build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
5. learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
6. work in an agile way as part of multi-disciplinary teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and others
7. understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
8. share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities

Your expertise

1. degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master’s degree)
2. 7-10 years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Java, Groovy, Postgres, Unix bash scripting, ElasticSearch etc.)
3. experience and expertise working with ElasticSearch and Cloudera (added advantage)
4. experience in working in a MS Azure – in particular Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions (added advantage)
5. have Agile, Testing Automation and DevOps practices part of your DNA
6. demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams
7. background in Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
8. strong analytical and problem solving skills
9. collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
