• Leadership: Disciplinary management and continuous development of the current team of 4 people, consisting of underwriters
• Business & Product Development: Maintaining sustainable client relationships, optimising the existing portfolio and strategically developing new, profitable market segments
• Marketing: Co-creation and implementation of a holistic marketing strategy for the targeted acquisition of new customers
• Collaboration: Close cooperation with the management team, other specialist departments and the local offices to promote synergies and jointly secure our position as a top reinsurer

You come equipped with

• Degree in (business) actuary/mathematics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in structured reinsurance. You are familiar with the reinsurance markets in Mena/Cima Zone .
• An open-minded leader who has internalised our leadership principles and ideally has some practical experience in the (technical) management of teams
• In-depth knowledge of accounting (primarily IFRS, US GAAP) geared to the requirements of underwriting as well as detailed knowledge of balance sheet analysis and regulatory framework conditions
• French and English at a business fluent level (C1 / C2)
• Willingness to regularly travel internationally, sometimes for several weeks at a time
• A strong analytical mindset combined with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and trends
