DevOps Engineer
  • Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to support the development, testing, and deployment of safety-critical systems for drones.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes using tools such as Ansible, Docker, NixOS, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Manage and optimize artifactory repositories to ensure efficient storage and distribution of artifacts.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices across the development environment, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Monitor system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.

What you should bring with you
  • Advanced degree in computer science, information technology, or comparable education.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, preferably in a safety-critical or regulated industry.
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible and optionally NixOS.
  • Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies such as KVM/QEMU and Docker on Linux.
  • Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
  • Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a high level of perseverance and analytical ability.
  • Inquisitive team player.
  • Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of German is desirable.
