Job description

This Test Automation Manager position is critical to our development teams. The person in charge will be responsible for the overall direction of our Software Quality Assurance by working with everyone from designers to developers to ensure the developer product is of high quality.
The person we are looking for helps break down Releases phases into manageable steps, keep the team motivated & push them to think out of the box. Our future Test Automation Manager will provide technical challenges opportunities through architecture reflexions & visions.

What you'll do & learn

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies by designing and implementing testing processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Define and enforce quality standards, guidelines, and best practices to maintain consistency across squads and excellence in software deliverables.
  • Coordinate the setup and maintenance of test environments to support testing activities and ensure consistency between testing and production environments.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor release activities, including post code-freeze validation and stabilization, release planning, deployment, validation, and rollback strategies, to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Participate actively to testing activities

What you embody

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field associated to a previous experience in leading QA activities.
  • Ability & willingness to mentor and guide team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Deep understanding of software development and QA processes with proficiency in various testing methodologies (manual and automated).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders
  • Ability to clearly articulate testing processes, plans, and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of SaaS platforms, architectures, and deployment models.
  • Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Experience with test automation tools &QA certification is a plus
