Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
Information Technology Linguist
to support our healthcare technology platforms. The ideal candidate will combine advanced linguistic knowledge with IT expertise to improve communication in multilingual environments, optimize translation workflows, and enhance user experience across digital platforms. This role is perfect for candidates who excel at the intersection of language, technology, and healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize technical and healthcare-related documents, software interfaces, and digital content.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate multilingual solutions into healthcare technology platforms.
• Develop and maintain linguistic resources such as glossaries, translation memories, and terminology databases.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and technical consistency.
• Support natural language processing (NLP) and AI-driven linguistic projects within healthcare IT systems.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on language technology tools and localization best practices.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in computational linguistics and healthcare IT to enhance workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in translation, localization, or linguistic support within IT or healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with CAT tools, NLP frameworks, and machine translation systems.
• Strong technical proficiency, with knowledge of healthcare IT systems and data standards a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in one or more additional languages is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced remote environment.
